#Mouse visitor(s), episode 2:
Anyone knows how to figure out where unwanted mice visitors might be coming in from into my (basement) flat? I tried UV light but without success so far. Also tried to plug any visible hole - however small - but they keep coming. I'd like to know for sure where they come from. Pour flour on the floor to try and detect their paw traces?

(I don't want to kill or capture them, just want to prevent them from coming in)

Edit: I have ordered a motion-triggered camera.. We will see if it helps!

My #Logitech MX vertical #mouse has a failing microswitch under the left click button. This is a mouse which has a millions of clicks rating & there’s no way I am close to the durability limit. I also treat this mouse well & keep it clean & away from spill risks etc. Going to be contacting Logitech & demanding a replacement. It’s the switches that go bad because they’re not spec’d correctly. Not very #repairable in my situation, sadly.

Is it just me, or is it impossible to get a decent vertical mouse?

I've owned a couple of the cheap ones, and the scroll wheels failed after ~6 months. Splurged on a Logitech MX Vertical, and the scroll wheel still works great over a year later - but the left click switch is failing (I can hear/feel it click, but it drops the input 10% of the time).

Anyone out there have any suggestions? Has to be a vertical mouse due to accumulated damage from 30+ years of using "flat" mice. I don't need any bells and whistles (extra buttons, trackball, joystick, etc) but I won't complain if they're present. I use a mouse 10+ hours a day, so durability is important!

Edit: got the model of the Logitech mouse wrong, heh.
