Jer 🚵🏼<p>It was all I could do to not stop every few feet and take another mushroom photo instead of biking. Guess I'm due for a long mushroom hike. <br><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/mushtodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mushtodon</span></a></p>
Jer 🚵🏼<p>Short hike with the kid. A lot of mushrooms and slime molds, but I only got mushroom photos this time. <br><a href="https://techhub.social/tags/mushtodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mushtodon</span></a></p>

Kelsie<p>Hubby and I took Emma on a hike on Saturday that was awesome! We came across so many mushrooms that we had to look at and snap photos of, which made our hike significantly longer. <br>Emma even stopped to sniff a couple of them. She was not as interested in the mushrooms as she is in fresh dog pee, however.🙄<br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/sporespondence" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>sporespondence</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/fungi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungi</span></a> <br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/mushtodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mushtodon</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/hike" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hike</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/dogsofmastodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>dogsofmastodon</span></a></p>

Willa :v_trans: :v_bi:<p>When hiking on the Wiley Trails yesterday, I thought we had discovered the head of some poor decapitated Muppet. impermanen_ 🕊️<p>Reading up on <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/mushrooms" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mushrooms</span></a> from forager websites, I recalled these huge <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/fungi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungi</span></a> I found on the forested slopes of Tava (“Pikes Peak”) in 2018. So I went back to find the photos. </p><p>Not sure but I think they may have been giant porcini mushrooms. If so they could have fed a large family for days. Some were the size of my shoe. </p><p>Left them alone for others to enjoy, including the trees that trade carbs with them for other nutrients. <a href="https://zirk.us/tags/mushtodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mushtodon</span></a></p>
