#introduction update for my second Mastodon anniversary!

I'm a #nonbinary #transmasc #lgbtqia person in my late 30s, I live in #Finland and pretty much toot in English.

I've been with my partner for over 16 years, we run a #pinball arcade together as a hobby. We have two elderly #cats who also get shared on here on the occasion.

I play a lot of #VideoGames, especially #RPGs and post about my progress, usually with pictures or videos.

I enjoy #travel, I've been to 13 different countries so far. I also enjoy meeting people from all around the world.

I do a lot of #crafts especially when the weather is bad. I #knit, #crochet and #CrossStitch

I'm a #chef by profession, I love good #food and great #coffee. I've been working at a student cafe on a uni campus for almost 7 years.

I like #cycling and try to keep some sort of decent condition with it. We have pretty good cycling routes in my home town. Photo evidence is shared on the occasion.

We especially welcome responses from Black people and people of colour, recognising the distinct forms of gender policing they face.

It's not that easy to find good information about estrogen and the menstrual cycle, but this article is pretty good, and fairly trans-friendly. Not perfect, it has some oddness about the discussion of trans men and doesn't discuss trans women's cycles as far as I can see, but MUCH better than most articles that discuss periods, menopause etc. Most of which are aimed exclusively and narrowly at cis women.

Most of the articles that explain how your hormone levels change, and what effect that might have on you are either way to simplified to be useful, or way to specialised for me to understand. This one strikes a pretty good balance.

This feels like it is getting out of hand. At what point does it stop being silly? Not only do I have fungi and plants, but now also a duck? Is this a normal pupation? Do I need a referral to see a professional caterpillar?

I don't mind being an ecosystem, but they're in my dreams now too. Are gestalt beings entitled to any sort of inter-node boundaries?
