Draw a line directly across this graph. That line is 1/2 of a great circle around the original sphere.Now draw a line around the edge of the graph where elevation = 0. That line is also a great circle.Since this was a perfect sphere, 2x the first line == the second line.*One the graph* this a diameter and a circumference. C = 2D? I don't think so.
