I like the white variants of Green-winged #Orchids best. They can show the green veins of the “wings” to the best.

So many thousands of purple flowered Green-winged #Orchids, but they're all unique with variations in pattern and colours, some quite extreme, such as pale pink and white variations - rarer mutations but easily spotted in a meadow

Eine Orchidee in einer Wiese in der Sonne. Sie hat viele Blüten an einem einzigen Stängel, die auf den ersten Blick etwas chaotisch wirken. Jede Blüte hat drei Blütenblätter, die helmförmig zusammengelegt sind. Darunter kommt eine Art Zunge aus der Blüte, die in drei lange Teile gespalten ist. Die Zunge ist oben weiß mit einer lila Zeichnung und die drei Ausläufer sind lila und an den Enden verdreht. Der Stiel der Orchidee ist dick und hellgrün zwischen den Blüten zu erkennen. Die oberen Knospen an der Orchidee sind noch geschlossen.

A mini yellow phalaenopsis orchid bloom to brighten up the day

Daytime, indoors. A small yellow phalaenopsis bloom is centered in the frame with dark green orchid leaves and orange-brown terracotta pots. The yellow bloom is wide open with five petals and fades to white at the center. The lip fades from white at the tip to yellow in the center.

Also, it looks like this plant is getting some new growth, branching new vines off the main one. Which is great!

It seems to like this spot, growing all over a bush. It has access to sun on the outside of the bush (which is where the flowers are), but shade inside the bush for the lower parts of the vine.

Spotted another vanilla vine in flower. This one is even more accessible. Flowers are opening slowly over the course of many days (like other orchids). I will do my best to pollinate .
