DaveybotIt's a shame that these accumulated, layered spaces often veer into the actually unsafe. Take this example of a fondouk in Marrakech, for instance.It's clearly structurally unsound, and probably a huge fire risk. But I still find the obvious visual presence of so many potential stories in it completely fascinating. I turned it into a screen print as part of an evening class I was taking, once. Millenia later, Roman soldiers marched through this pass where pylons now stride.
