Chris HayesOne reason for using a YouTube alternative that I don't see people talking about much is Google's practice of "shadow banning" comments that mention certain words or topics.I see this often on videos about politics and civil action. For example, mentioning Jan 6 will do this.This happens the most if you put a link in a youtube comment, those are always shadow banned. Like, literally one frame per two seconds. I like that you can still hear the sound uninterrupted, which is good enough in some cases, but generally, unless, I guess, there will be money to provide required bandwidth, I don't think it's going to replace YouTube.
