When Doves Cry started my love for Prince music, but the albums that followed were so bad-ass, they cemented my life-long love for that voice and the songs it featured on.

Today's awesome track is "Hello", the crazy non-album B-side to 1985 Raspberry Beret single, here in it's Extended Version as it was presented on the 12" singles around the world (heh)

As often with his B-sides, it is "out there" in one way or the other, in this case a direct reaction to his perceived stardom, when he decided not to join the USA For America's recording of "We Are The World, but went clubbing instead and ran into pushy press photographers and his bodyguard slapped a few around.

Where ever it came from, it is captivating and utterly funky.
