0x4d6165 (Mae or Julie)<p><span>I know this is a big ask but would anyone be willing to tutor me with aspnet core and auth? I've been beating my head against this for like months and I just want to get to actually making my application. aspnet core identity seems like it's too limited and not really meant for what i'm trying to do (support an SPA and third party client mobile apps), but the docs are confusing me so I'm not even sure if that's right. I was thinking of using keycloak, but that's a huge undertaking it seems like and has been giving me trouble too. </span><a href="https://wanderingwires.net/tags/fediHelp" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#fediHelp</a><span> </span><a href="https://wanderingwires.net/tags/aspnetcore" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#aspnetcore</a><span> </span><a href="https://wanderingwires.net/tags/programmingHelp" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#programmingHelp</a></p>

I’ve installed <a href="https://caneandable.social/tags/Rclone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Rclone</span></a> and tried creating a <a href="https://caneandable.social/tags/BASH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>BASH</span></a> script, but I’m struggling with it.<br>If you’ve set up something similar or have recommendations for an efficient backup workflow, I’d love to hear them! Bonus points if you know any good courses or resources to improve my scripting skills.<br><a href="https://caneandable.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" Queer Like The Slur<p>🐡Please Boost🐡</p><p>Alright folks, on the suggestion of some wise folks on the previous thread [thank you], we're doing the <a href="https://aus.social/tags/StripeySockGlossary" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>StripeySockGlossary</span></a></p><p>Here's the deal:<br>1. I find an undefined term or concept in <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Programming101" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Programming101</span></a> and I post it in a comment under this post<br>2. You could answer with a simple definition of the term or concept if you wanted to. You could even relate the concept back to an earlier simpler programmable technology*. Alternatively you could fuck with me and I would have absolutely no idea. </p><p>By the end we might have a crowdsourced layperson-programmer bridging glossary. It's possible.</p><p>*eg weaving loom, knitting machine, player piano</p><p><a href="https://aus.social/tags/ProgrammingHelp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ProgrammingHelp</span></a></p>
Steven Pestana<p>So what's the easiest way to handle time and date data with timezone information in <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/python" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>python</span></a> (<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/pandas" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>pandas</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/datetime" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>datetime</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/numpy" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>numpy</span></a>, or <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/xarray" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>xarray</span></a>). I find myself switching back and forth between datetime64, Timestamp, adding timedelta or tzinfo haphazardly and have never really settled on what's the best way to handle these data. I'm primarily working with pandas dataframes or xarray datasets. <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/programmingHelp" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>programmingHelp</span></a></p>
