Just two hours before it was finally supposed to go the #Falcon9 launch of #SPHEREx and #PUNCH has been called off *again* to "allow teams to continue rocket checkouts ahead of liftoff" - the terse message blogs.nasa.gov/spherex/2025/03 doesn't give a new launch date but unnervingly the preset webcast youtube.com/watch?v=qkTcmQJdGK is now supposed to begin ... on May 1st! Probably just some glitch, right?

Twenty-eight years ago today, at a match against Crystal Palace,  #Manchester United star Eric #Cantona #responded to #racial #abuse he was #subjected to from sieg heiling #NationalFront/#BritishNationalParty supporter #MatthewSimmons by #delivering a #flying #kick to his #head from the #pitch.

Asked about the #incident two decades later, Cantona said “I didn’t #punch him strong enough. I should have #punched him #harder.”  

Still a #dedicated #humanitarian and anti-racist, Cantona pledged in September to personally house and feed a #refugee #family in his own home for two years."

Twenty-eight years ago today, at a match against Crystal Palace,  Manchester United star Eric Cantona responded to racial abuse he was subjected to from sieg heiling National Front/British National Party supporter Matthew Simmons by delivering a flying kick to his head from the pitch. Asked about the incident two decades later, Cantona said “I didn’t punch him strong enough. I should have punched him harder.”   Still a dedicated humanitarian and anti-racist, Cantona pledged in September to personally house and feed a refugee family in his own home for two years.
