The narrow vein must have been chased on the surface. </p><p>The landscape is almost all sandstone and mudstone, about half a billion years old.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/quarries" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>quarries</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/mines" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mines</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/drone" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>drone</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/mountains" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mountains</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/wales" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>wales</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/cymru" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cymru</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/geology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>geology</span></a></p>
