Another for #MonochromeMonday, with color comparison. This is Anna Lapwood standing beside the pipe organ at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola in NYC. I’d wanted to see her in concert since discovering videos of her playing the organ at the Royal Albert Hall, and she did not disappoint. Happy Monday to all! Sunday brought better-than-expected weather, so after my previously mentioned musical adventure, the wife and I went around the neighborhood in Maenocho, Itabashi, where the cherry blossoms have now reached a quite nice stage. Here is a first set of four photos; another set will come tomorrow.

As mentioned earlier, I sat behind a drum kit for the first time in my life today. Here is a short clip from 30 minutes into the lesson of me drumming along to “Free as a Bird”. I feel I’m off to a reasonably good start.
