My favorite dance channel on SiriusXM called the aptly-named Utopia, which has songs from the 90s and 2000s, offers listeners to send in a voice note on what Utopia means. I pulled the lever and sent in an entry just now.
Don’t know if they’ll air it, because my voice is one only a mother would love. 
But maybe….

Today, I had to do my yearly song and dance with SiriusXM. I pay $8.50/month for the service. It expires and they jack the price to $24/month. I login to cancel and they offer the same package for $16/month. I proceed with the cancellation and then the chatbot says how about the same package for $8.50/month. I know they must make money off of people who don't pay attention or aren't aware that they can play this game, but it's so stupid.
I really, REALLY enjoy #SiriusXM. But in this house, we don’t support companies that further fascism. So we’ll be cancelling our subscription.
#bands should think of #spotify/streaming platforms as where demo material goes.
Release mono tracks w/ less instrument layers, effects, vocal harmony, no sound bites, etc.
It might actually be perceived as higher quality b/c there's less to compress.
People often listen over mobile. Low bit rate, inferior speakers. It's BG noise to sing along to.
It costs money to be out there. Let people pay for the finished HQ album & enjoy the experience.
Singles are to keep hype going. Release a few throughout the year. Alt ver give more reason to buy the #CD or #vinyl.
If you're like me & cancelled your satellite radio sub but still have a car model after 2001 with a satellite radio dorsal fin antenna, you can tune in this week for free. 
SiriusXM is struggling. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to a ad-supported model soon and let anyone tune in like terrestrial radio.

I really like #opera music (recs welcomed!), it is one of the favorites of mine when I want something on while reading or writing, but its so hard to know great opera recordings to listen to, requires a lot of niche listicles where there's no telling if half of them will be on your streaming service of choice.
So unlike a lot of #SiriusXM stations I listen to that just like comfortable favorites rotating (Indie 1.0, Margaritaville) it is one that is actually quite useful in curating selections

I deleted my account and reauthorized it and still no joy. This is not good. If I can't find a solution #SiriusXM goes bye bye.
What, on, the, earth? Any of my #SonosSpeaker using friends out here who have #SiriusXM beheld what they have done to it in the #SonosApp? No longer are channels organized by category and some of the "app only channels seem to be dimmed. I ask why?

@GottaLaff It did not escape the #SiriusXM #Progressive channel. Stephanie Miller hammered on it this morning. #MSM is scripted rage-reporting. That's how they missed it. Still hammering out details with writers, I suppose.
