That increasing public interest is being taken in #cricket was demonstrated on Saturday at Trafalgar Park when about a thousand #spectators were present to witness the match between #Nelson and Wanganui for the Hawke Cup. The weather was fine but very warm.

Sad that the #India vs #Canada match was #abandoned without a ball being bowled due to a #wetoutfield.
A huge #disappointment for the many #spectators who attended with great excitement to watch the game.
They would have loved to watch the cricketers in action in their home city.
