Colin Purrington<p>Fourth-instar nymph of a spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula). I'm in PA, the epicenter of their North American invasion, but they have spread to DE, CT, MD, MA, MI, IN, NJ, NY, NC, OH, RI, VA, and WV, with sightings of dead adults, perhaps from shipped products, in CA, CO, FL, NH, TN, UT, and VT. At least they are very easy to spot. <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/hemiptera" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hemiptera</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/fulgoridae" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fulgoridae</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/invasive" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>invasive</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/insect" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>insect</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/entomology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>entomology</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/SpottedLanternfly" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SpottedLanternfly</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://flipping.rocks/tags/IntroducedSpecies" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>IntroducedSpecies</span></a></p>
