Made it out to the downtown #StLouis #NoKings protest today. Didn't stay the whole time, was pretty wiped from the road trip. But it was really nice to see so many people, and so many different groups, out today. I hope that energy continues into more focused and constructive forms of action.

#Trump #MAGA #GOP #Republican priorities:

Money for #ICE in #LosAngeles, no money for #tornado damage in #StLouis

This man is walking around North St Louis pointing out the hypocrisy of ignoring real crises while manufacturing fake crises

It's never about improvement

It's always about scapegoating and blame

#USA is a sick country

(But they're gutting the CDC because Fauci Bilderberg reptilians blah blah blah {insert deranged MAGA shit here}, so expect a lot more literal sickness too)

My old neighborhood, sorta, after a tornado.
Polo Drive is a maze of big houses behind my Mom's old house. It is built on the former polo field of the old St. Louis Country Club. Our street was the 1-block plot where the original clubhouse had been.

The eastern residential section of Clayton, south of Wash. U., is full of giant old trees. Lots of gas pipes ripped out of the ground.

@Ashedryden I left #StLouis too long ago to recommend any places to eat...
Do not miss the City Museum, a creation of artist Bob Cassily in a former shoe factory downtown. The St. Louis Zoo is always enjoyable (and free!) and the other 4 "major" institutions suppored by the regional Zoo & Museum District (zmdstl.org) are ALL worth visiting. The Missouri Botanical Garden was always one of my favorite places and is especially remarkable in the Spring.

Hoping a few others can pitch in:
“I’m Delois Holmes son Reginald Holmes the day that tornado touchdown I walked in the house and seen my mom on the basement steps unfortunately she was not alive. This is a big tragedy. Our house is completely gone. My mom is gone and we’re just asking for any help that anyone could give is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.” #StLouis #Tornado
