Love these steps! Like I've often said, "Books decorate our minds and our walls!" And, apparently, they can decorate our steps as well!

Following a massively popular request[*], reposting my snapshots from yesterday's short trip to Kraków.

For reasons I'm failing to comprehend, Kraków seems to be the only place in Poland that makes me feel like doing the type of photography I don't do much in Warsaw. Some call it 'street photography', but my term is more like 'curiosity-driven snapshotography'.

[*]: exactly one person

Entrance to some old staircase. On the door hangs an installation consisting of several dozen fragments of picture frames. On the wall next to it, there is a black spray-painted letter "A" inscribed in a circle.

The van is parked in this spot every night, overnight, and has for months. I thought maybe they worked at Waffle House, about 30 yards to the left of this picture, so I asked.

Word on the street: he's up from Florida doing construction work and lives in the van. The vehicle isn't there during the day.
