But I did finally finish these earrings, with #tatting thread hand-dyed by @yarnplayer that have me yearning for spring.
I did them in white as snowflakes and liked them, so tried again with this lovely lilac theme.

Take a little bit of time to reach out to the fediverse fiber botherers for your craft of choice. We're all happy to share which books have been useful. Don't just trust Amazon's algorithm, and buy the first book that comes to the top.
Separately, I was planning to launch this project in January, after the holidays. But BECAUSE REASONS it makes sense to launch now.

I've got a journalist interested in the idea. But we'd like more examples if you've found them.

I had been thinking about this thread snowflake I made a while back, so I’m glad to have found it while digging out my sewing room.
It’s not in the best condition, but I think a wash and some starch should help.
I was playing around with methods of making snowflakes at the time; this one combines knitting with the method of joining picots together that’s used in tatting.
Can confirm: this free #tatting pattern for snowflakes is beginner-friendly. One shuttle.
Mistakes were made. But they were practice pieces and I still like them.
