Well, there's still some #tcrno11 action near or at the Assietta...

My new Strava friend, who proposed I should ride the #tcr next year and wrote me a message 15 minutes ago, is doing fine on parcours 3.

Panda:
Bike - Giant Gravel Revolt 1/V1
Tube - no idea
Gears - usually won't work
Breaks - hands hurt after some downhill
Saddly - don't ask, ouch

of course #tcrno11 is not close to being over, but one has to think ahead, no? so here's my proposal for #tcrno12 from Tarifa (Spain) to Hel (Poland) with Parcours at the mountains near Valencia, Massive Central, the Black Forest and Polish/Czech border :)

(don't take it that serious, but I'd love to see those heroic #tcr people here in the Black Forest :))

What a lovely way to present his TCR on a Brompton experience!

Haven't read it yet, just skimmed across and admired the format James chose and realized. I find it wonderful and it's encourages exploration.... of the map, of his social media stories during the race etc. Awesome work.

www.jameshouston.comThe Transcontinental Race on a BromptonJames Houston's report on racing the TCR on a Brompton folding bicycle.

My mate who is doing the Transcontinental 2023 is currently at the foot of the #Stelvio Pass, from the Bormio side. He reached #Control Point 1 (CP1), near #Livigno, last night with just over an hour to spare. He's currently done @ 1200km having ridden from #Belgium, through Eastern #France, up the #Grimsel Pass in #Switzerland and now heading through Northern #Italy then onto #Slovenia. The leaders are already in southern #Bosnia! At least, after the Stelvio, Phil will have an "easier" couple of days following rivers and valleys into Slovenia.
