Christine Sætre-esque“Small projects rule.” I’ve learned this over and over. And over. 1 - Salient engineering and design details matter in small projects. Big projects would rather talk about the budget.2 - Small projects seem to allow CIO/CTO’s (and the project manager) to adopt a listen and learn approach. Big projects show less respect, wrestling or controlling the technical team rather than supporting their moves.3 - Coordination and communication complexity and friction is lower in a small project.
