libUnderseaMonkey.so 🇪🇺<p>Had the email this morning confirming that our new corporate overlords "do not permit" the use of Linux and that I'm being moved to a Macbook so old it won't even drive all my displays. So I am officially on the job market.</p><p>Need a <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/DevOps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DevOps</span></a> Lead? 100% remote, £140k pa. <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/AWS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AWS</span></a>; <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Terraform" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Terraform</span></a>; <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Ansible" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ansible</span></a>; <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Jenkins" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jenkins</span></a>. sumanthvepa<p>1/2 Now that've I've <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/docker" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>docker</span></a> -ized my application, infrastructure. I need a small tool that will easily deploy my applications to local dev environments, the test server running on rack in the office, and to the cloud. </p><p>I took a brief look at <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/terraform" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>terraform</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ansible" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ansible</span></a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/kubernetes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kubernetes</span></a>, and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/docker" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>docker</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/swarm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>swarm</span></a> </p><p>But each of these seems overly heavyweight for my use case.</p>

libUnderseaMonkey.so 🇪🇺<p>Apparently the new parent company aren't going to let us run <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a> on our laptops so in a couple of months I'll have to switch to either of the two popular commercial lesser operating systems. Obviously this is a deal breaker so I'll be back on the job market with about three decades of experience but a hefty salary to match.</p><p>Lead <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/DevOps" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DevOps</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/SysAdmin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SysAdmin</span></a> working remotely in the UK.</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/AWS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AWS</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Terraform" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Terraform</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/kubernetes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kubernetes</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/k8s" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>k8s</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Jenkins" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Jenkins</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Ansible" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ansible</span></a>, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/networking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>networking</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Infrastructure" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Infrastructure</span></a>, etc, etc...</p>
