Ruweg<p>The trees rustle under the majestic moonlight. I've come here many times to feel the change. That mystical moon is always beautiful, especially when I transform. That nasty feeling of fur on my skin… Those cumbersome paws that cannot grasp anything without trying three or four times. And that accursed tendency to growl and yelp.</p><p>But once every moon, when it has cycled in full, its rays bless me. I change into a shape that no one has ever seen before. Sleeker, unburdened, and free. I can already feel it happen now, my always-lifted paws get dragged to the soil, connecting me to the earth. My shaggy fur recedes and becomes nearly imperceptible, except for a sorry patch that still holds out on my head.</p><p>My whole body shrinks, making it more compact, allowing me to see the world from up closer. It hurts, and I can't keep my eyes open. But the dulling of my hearing makes it easier to concentrate, and when the sounds stop, I open my eyes and am greeted by so many more colors than my canine eyes would ever imagine.</p><p>Extremities now recede into my body. My pointed ears migrate to the sides and round out. My butt stills as my tail slowly recedes into a tailbone. Finally stopping it to a rest. Sharp and dangerous claws now dull into nothing more than tactile nails.The world around me darkens as the light flees from my eyes, dimming to a dark brown. My teeth shorten and blunt, allowing me to eat and taste so much more.</p><p>I shriek of joy in a foreign tongue. My body shivers in excitement. Finally I'm free, with only the skin on my back. I run into the much darker night, unencumbered by fur. The one that likely had the most direct impact on me eventually becoming a furry and was a compelling fiction for youths. Animorphs by K.A. Applegate and Michael Grant!</p><p>Though, I only remember reading up to like maybe book 14 or so a kid. We never had hem, but would I check them out from the school library. Now it's nice to own them and in the cool graphic novel style by Chris Grine too. There are 6 so far but I've been reading them intermittently as they have been released. Just a bear :verified:<p>First real test ride today, instead as a train conductor as a train driver in a Siemens TAURUS ​:blobbear_3c:​<span> I'm so hyped but also very excited. It's a real almost 5h ride. It will be fun, from Cologne to Hamburg and tomorrow from Hamburg to Berlin to Leipzig.
