A #watercolor illustration based on a photo I had saved on my phone, but I can't find the original source post anywhere. If you shared a pic of a box of mangoes back in Aug 2024, let me know. I saved the picture for a whole year, knowing that I would paint it eventually.

Finished off the last loose threads and trying to block it.
Pixie did not help - she seems to be in love with the smell with moist lanolin and would roll around in it, trying to get it all over herself.

The100DayProject & a new 30 day experiment
Went out for a walk in the woods with my wife, and found some wildflowers along the way. Over 25 pink lady slippers, actually! Did a little bit of sketching while we were out there, and recorded at least 32 different plant species, plus more we couldn't identify.

Yesterday and today, I have been crocheting the edges of my #The100DayProject knitted blanket.
I have a newfound respect for #crochet. I don't know why I'm so intimidated by it.
This is a lesson to myself not to avoid it in the future by just telling myself I don't know how to do it.

A pile of loose yarn ends I fastened and snipped for #The100DayProject... I think fastening ends must be my least favorite part of any #knitting project, and this one had a lot of loose ends, considering it's made up of 187 pieces, and each one has at least 2 ends if not more!

The end of #The100DayProject draws near.
I've knitted and attached all my squares. Now I need to start cleaning it up and crocheting the edges. So this means Ihave about a week to tidy up the threads, crochet a border, and then try to block it. This should be 187 squares.
The front looks a lot more ready than the back.
