Oh nice, @wikipedia's 1,000,000th article was written on this day in 2006.

It was about the Jordanhill railway station.

Unguilty Pleasures

Full disclosure: I am no kind of skilled photographer (unlike many amazingly talented Pixelfedders!). While I know my way around a (D)SLR, my camera of choice is the one on my iPhone 8 (the follow up to my first ever smartphone, the mighty iPhone 4). Why? Because it fits in my pocket and I always have it with me. Yes, I am one those people you see on the street, standing in one spot for far too long, phone in both hands, head tilted a little to one side, lost in their own world. That's me.

In the early days of smartphones, filter apps were all the rage. Loved 'em. Yesterday while going through the file dump that is my Macbook, I found a bunch of snaps I took years ago with ye olde Hipstamatic app. (Did I still even have that on my phone? I checked. I did.)

This shot from 2011 is one of my favourites.
