Note I have upgraded the BIOS to the most recent version on lenovo's web site. Mi Mo<p>I made another Trader Joe’s box book! KrisHow do you make a project bag that's *actually* useful? 🤔<br> My MIL is an avid knitter (did you see those monstera mittens i posted? She made me those for Christmas 😭❤️) and her birthday is this weekend. I know she likes to knit in the car, so I wanted to make a project bag that is light, but has a couple of clever features. There's plenty of room for a handful balls of yarn, plus a pocket for needles, pencils, notes etc. I thought about how annoying it is when the yarn balls roll around in the car, or having to do colourwork and the threads get all tangled. The solution is a strip of webbing with channels for the different threads – but with snaps, so she doesn't have to cut the yarn to get them out. Added a bigger snap for closure and webbing straps for carrying. Delta Sierra

Phase one of operation "Move Giant Television" (A 36" Sony KV-36HS510) was a success! This was another dump find; I had it stored in the garage because I had to use the engine hoist to unload it (it weighs 230lbs; I weigh in at 210lbs).

My housemate was nice enough to help me move it into the house with a furniture strap. Next phase is to repair and repaint the housing (some jerk threw a smaller CRT on top of it and cracked the housing) and replace the power cord (see: aforementioned jerk). I may adjust the picture a bit at this stage, but aside from some very minor geometry issues this set is in surprisingly good shape given that I found it in a dumpster.

After that, I get to build a frame above the entry into the loft (it's only accessible via ladder) and then hoist this thing 10 feet into the loft. I'm working on building a proper stand for this set as well, since my eBay TV stand isn't deep enough and DEFINITELY not rated for the weight.

A 36" Sony Trinitron television, resting on a wheeled 2x4 pallet and secured with three red ratchet straps. The television is resting in a bedroom, near an exit door and a dog kennel. Even in this open space, it's incredibly large.
