Critics have described his book as “a giant hug,” and I hope this song feels the same. Written in February 2022, It’s Okay is about being kind to yourself. It also sets the tone for the entire album—because “It’s okay” might just be the most comforting phrase in the universe.<br> <br> I created Cats &amp; Coffee Cups to bring a sense of comfort during difficult times—the same comfort I was seeking in 2022 when the world felt overwhelming.
