I think setting this up will take much longer than weaving it.
Dark charcoal wool 28/2 (I think)
36 epi
1080 warp ends
I’m interested in weaving fine cloth that would be nice for making garments with, so this is a step in that direction. I got the first 300 ends through the heddles today.

Need some tea towels? My friend @lizzy weaves the most beautiful ones. They’re my favourite kitchen towels ever - soft, absorbent, and beautiful - and they sell out quick!!

This is the most expensive stamp I've ever bought but isn't it lovely? It will take a lot of practice to perfect and will take a long time to stamp out onto a project but I hope it will be worth it for the beauty it will grace upon the leather.
(Also one of my most complex captions I have ever had to explain.)

Analog Pixels 21
Image originally shot on Lomography LomoChrome Turquoise XR 100-400 film with a Nikon F5 camera and a Nikon 105mm f/2.8D AF Micro-Nikkor lens. The negative was scanned and then 2 copies were printed. I then cut one of the copies into strips and wove them into the other copy to produce the final image.
Super psyched to share the blankets I added to my shop today ٩( ᐛ )و
The fun part about designing prints is seeing how the colors turn out when they get translated from pixels to pigments/fibers.
All set up in the studio for our first remote #livecoded #woven #robot #maypole dance of the season! This will be part of a workshop investigating dance notation systems for @alpaca
It is built from long wooden #fences made of upright posts interwoven with #wattle, converging in a V-shape close to the low water mark. Knotted ropes tied the structure together. The #woven, conical #baskets in which the #fish were trapped survive intact in the clays where the two fences meet. /2 END
About 5 years ago, I was playing with converting 3D shapes into “#woven” patterns. The coloured part of “Woven Dreams” was done using this method (https://mathstodon.xyz/@HypercubicPeg/109411039784102697).
Here are pictures of a #dodecahedron built of #concentric #pentagon sides pretending to be a patterned #decagon.
Complexity in simplicity continued
Also tricky is to figure out what size the "skeleton" should be in order to achieve the correct #ring size at the end. Crucial for the wearer's comfort. And a great challenge!
