Interesting sign with some old-style letterforms. I especially like the capital P and the lower case script r's which look like little 7s.

A curved shiny dark red sign mounted on a wall. Looks sort of like a Roman scutum (shield). The hand painted letters say "Pizzeria Speranzella Trattoria" in a non-connected script. Some letters have like the capital P (see next photo), the lower case p, which has an open bowl, and the lower case r, which looks like the number 7.
Closer look at the upper case P with some foliage above. The stem of the P connects at the bottom to a large clockwise arc reaching over the top of the stem and ending in a little curl with a ball terminal. It looks mostly like a reverse capital letter D.
