Time in the garden, drawn by the mahonia aquifolium (or is it a berberis? there seems to be some confusion between the two) which forms part of the roadside hedge - totally covered in typical spring time yellow.

Yes, I think that's a Berberis as Mahonia have spiked leaves, more like a big Holly leaf.
