I still don't understand what connection the Pope is making between the prevalence of "frocciaggine" and "cadere." How would he expect these seminarians to fail/fall? Too much temptation for them to violate their oaths of celibacy?

@stronglang @grvsmth Yes, and also that they would not be focused on their priestly role. The idea is that the priesthood is seen as something more possible for gay men because they have more opportunities for sexual interaction, specifically with their colleagues, and so some might go into it with inappropriate expectations, leading to overall bad results.

Denominations that do not require priestly celibacy somehow never seem to worry about this.
