I found this spot particularly hard to photograph. The shrubbery is nearly completely eroded from visitors - I had to use a small shrub to hide the barren landing and create the illusion the shot was taken from a well grown forest. On top of that, it was hard to even find a good view that didn't include various campers or boats within the frame.

Ended up doing almost ten miles (mostly flat) which far exceeded my expectations considering I’m several years older and a bit rounder since I rode last. A feeling of satisfaction coupled with a sore butt.

My best shots were taken when stopped, but there are a few interesting shots taken while riding.

Sand Beach as seen from Beehive trail, Acadia National Park. Spring 2020. Despite living in a village surrounded by the national park, I don’t always frequent its most touristy and picturesque locations such as this one, especially during busy season.
