August 12, 2020 – Trump repeatedly called Kamala Harris, Biden’s choice of running mate, “nasty.”

“She was nasty to a level that was just a horrible thing,” the president said, referring to her questioning of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate confirmation hearing.

Trump added that Harris “was the meanest, most horrible, most disrespectful of anybody in the U.S. Senate.”

August 12, 2020 – Trump congratulated Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican congressional candidate from Georgia who voiced her support of the far-right conspiracy theory QAnon.

“Marjorie is strong on everything and never gives up — a real WINNER!” Trump wrote on Twitter. The FBI identified QAnon as a potential domestic terror threat in 2019.
