Streetartwall An impressive mural of an old man with a lantern has been painted on the outside wall of a four-storey modern building. It is a tribute to the "Subiaco" train station, which opened in 1924. The bearded old man in the mural is wearing an old-fashioned brown uniform and a cap with a badge. In one hand he is holding a wooden stick with a round shining lamp. The light illuminates his face with the pipe in his mouth and the night with railroad tracks in the background. The moon shines through the dark clouds. Magnificent.
Info: The mural is also a tribute to the building itself, which was a lamp and electrical factory in the early 1900s.
