@ifixcoinops I've been using Krita *on my tablet* for #Monsterdon of late and it's fantastic.
I knew it was great on a PC with a graphics tablet, but to see that it is basically the same experience on Android (especially when paired with a keyboard)…
well done, y'all. Krita deserves some of my money, come to think of it.
Those of you who didn't like the plot and pacing of Krull? Colwyn has something to say to you.

IT'S #MONSTERDON
we will be watching
First Men in the Moon (1964)
"Jeffries), a brilliant British scientist, creates his own spacecraft and takes a trip to the moon, accompanied by explorers Arnold Bedford (Edward Judd) and Kate Callender (Martha Hyer). After landing, they encounter an insect-like alien race that lives under the moon's surface, which has an air-like atmosphere. After glimpsing the extraterrestrial society, the group must soon escape back to Earth."

@JoeWynne That is a compelling argument. One could say, it's got a lot of legs. #Monsterdon
I would move to Krull in a heartbeat. No question. I don't even need to pack.
Monsterdonians,
Yes, many movies listed have things going for them. Please note, however, that First Men in the Moon has a
KILLER KATERPILLAR FROM OUTER SPACE
which has not been highlighted yet and may serve as an interesting topic of discussion during the feature.
@spellingmistakescostlives From the look of that god are we sure it has bones though
(also #Monsterdon would love this)
What should our next #Monsterdon movie be?
@Lazarou
Mad? This is normal American life.

@paco @combatwombat I am proud of what we have achieved
@combatwombat Seeing this, I set my max posts to 3000 for my graphing system. It took 76 minutes to pull down all the toots from all the servers and many maxed out at 3000 (normally I stop at 2400).
Krull was 36M of toots where a typical weekend is around 22M. By my reckoning (in terms of how much I download), the biggest ones have been in this order:
the best I could do about finding the animal actors from Krull is this guy: Vic Armstrong - listed as 'head wrangler: uncredited' on IMDB
there are no other animal-related credits, which is truly outrageous for a movie with that many horses, trick riders, a puppy and a tiger!
But Vic's got quite the story himself, worth a quick read if you're interested
@forestine I hope they got tasty treats for their labors #monsterdon
