In 1943 Tyneham’s residents had to leave—their village became part of Army training ranges. Tyneham One-Place Study, which has lots of info on this place and its former inhabitants, is sure to welcome The Genealogist’s addition of Valuation Office Survey records for #Dorset!

I have taken, and shared, many images featuring the Cedar of Lebanon that sits above Horse Pond at Fawsley (my local #OnePlaceStudy), but this view is a bit different! Taken a little after sunset on Monday last week.
