23. Will Decker was to be the new captain of the USS Enterprise following her refit. He served as Kirk's First Officer when Kirk assumed command during the V'Ger incident. He ultimately chose to merge with V'Ger to save Earth.

10. Michael Burnham was the First Officer of the USS Shenzhou but ultimately committed mutiny to try to prevent a war with the Klingons. She later briefly served as Captain Saru's First Officer aboard the USS Discovery.

11. Saru was the first Kelpian in Starfleet. He served as First Officer of the USS Discovery under Captains Lorca and Pike. He later returned to serve as Burnham's First Officer as well.

22. Maxwell Burke was the First Officer of the USS Equinox. He was complicit in the Equinox's murder of alien lifeforms to get them home faster, going so far as to conduct a mutiny when Captain Ransom attempted to cancel the experiments.

21. Adreek-Hu was the original first officer of the USS Protostar. He is an Aurelian. Mostly seen in holographic recordings, he was captured alongside the rest of the Protostar's original crew.

17. Commander Rayner, the first officer of the USS Discovery in Discovery's 5th and final season. A Kellerun, known for his curt, distant demeanour at first. He eventually learned to trust the crew.
