Would you recommend any additives to emulsify thin ink, or dilute-ink, dilute-acrylic paint, etc.?
That the ink might flow well on a dip pen nib, for instance.
(To turn thin watery pigment in to an emulsion which beads properly upon the nib.)
Would you suggest shellac, gum arabic, some kind of liquid gloss acrylic medium, or something else?

Behind the scenes with some of the photos I took of roller skates to use in my Roller Skating series. I have the white roller skates. I want to actually paint designs on them. Two different designs for each skate and then offer it for sale as home décor. I have a request from the Art Community here – what is/are good paints that will adhere to the skates. Which would be better: the Squeegee Paint Technique or the Hydro Dipping Technique?
Something I’m confused on, as I’m trying to learn how to do art, is how learning the structure of the human body can translate to drawing the bodies of anthropomorphic characters.
Especially if they’re cartoonish.
Can an artist help me understand: why do it? How do you translate what you learn to, well, the thing you wanna ACTUALLY draw?
