I'm having my usual issue with not being able to picture what things would look like in different fabrics or even a pattern rather than just solid colour.

Right now this just looks like garbage, but that could also just be my depressed brain doing it's thing. 🧠🗑️

Working on a top inspired by the Rori wrap top by DIY Daisy. (diydaisy.com/blog/tutorial-ror)

Instead of the patternless layout on Daisy's tutorial I used an existing pattern and simplified it by leaving out the darts and extending the length. The ruffle is made with Daisy's instructions but instead of using the whole width I folded it in half to give it more structure. That might've made the thickness a bit too much as both my sewing machine and my serger made very worrying noises while I was sewing the ruffle on. 😂 I think I'll try Daisy's method on the other side, this way my bra was a bit too visible from the side and I'd rather not worry about that when wearing a garment. Also I'm not fully convinced with how it looks. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think this would look cute with a long skirt though!

Purje tarvii pari pientä korjausommelta. Kävin kivijalasta kyselemässä tarkoitukseen soveltuvaa lankaa, mutta se on kalliinpuoleista ja sitä on hyllyssä vain turkasen isona rullana, kun tarvetta on ehkä kymmenelle - parillekymmenelle metrille. Puodin omistaja lykkäsi rullan kouraan, sanoi että "sano sit paljonko meni kun tuot rullan takaisin". Hinnaksi sovittiin alustavasti euro tai pari.

Tampereen (sekä lähiseudun) kässäilijät hox!

Mulla on suunnitelmissa aloittaa ryhmä, jossa kokoonnutaan kerran kuukaudessa yhteen paikkaan ja tehdään käsitöitä ja joka ei ole sidoksissa mihinkään yritykseen, järjestöön, tms. Ei siis neulepiiri tai muu yhteen asiaan keskittynyt, vaan sellainen johon voi tulla tekemään ihan mitä vaan (mitä voi tehdä omassa sylissä) hyvässä seurassa. (Ei juttelupakkoa)

Mutta tässä asiassa mietityttää muutama juttu, jonka vuoksi ajattelin huudella täällä ja kysyä mielipiteitä sekä tietoa.

Eli;
A) onko tällainen/tällaisia kaikille avoimia ryhmiä jo olemassa ja aktiivisena Tampereella?
B) Onko kahvila mukava paikka tällaisille tapaamisille? (Pohdinnassa myös toisenlaisia vaihtoehtoja)
C) Tulisitko mukaan? Silloin tällöin, joka kerta, ehkä kerran kokeilemassa, kaikki vastaukset hyväksytään!
D) Onko tää ihan paska idea?
