Consider messages to me on any other service ephemeral (because that’s what they are), with no SLA whatsoever around it.

For all this talk about people growing up as #digitalnatives, they’re showing surprisingly little sophistication around how to use all those digital services well.

Unser VP für #Nachhaltigkeit und #Digitalisierung benennt, dass KI in die Curricula Einzug halten sollten. Es gehe darum, zu lernen, was KI kann und auch, was KI _nicht_ kann.

Sie bedient danach aber das Narrativ der #DigitalNatives :-/ Dass Studis möglicherweise einen anderen Zugang zu solchen neuen Technologien haben, von mir aus. Aber der Begriff wird mir hier zu unreflektiert verwendet.

@notroot @edutooters not exactly, but #Pedagogy has been evolving apace while many #Teachers were themselves educated in an outdated version of pedagogy (ie. they teach how they've been taught to teach).
Adapting those techniques to a new reality where learners are generally bathed in technology from a ridiculous young age, these #DigitalNatives come into the #Classroom knowing how to game the (particularly public) educational system as it is currently designed.

I'm sure you all have seen it too: someone presenting and one or both of "windows update available" or "update chrome" is flashing for the world to see. There have been how many zero days just in Chrome this year and teachers don't update for months, if ever?

Of course, I still see *young* teachers using the space bar or tab to center & right align text! Also, hand-numbering the questions on their quizzes. #DigitalNatives indeed!
