The suggestion that Trump was "saved" by God in order to "save" our country is an insult to anyone with even vaguely religious commitments. His second term has been an unmitigated disaster for the world, ranging from his destructive tariffs to his illegal bombing of Iran. He cemented his legacy of ashes last week when he signed the Big Beautiful Bill, legislation that strips $1 trillion from Medicaid and will result in countless Americans dying totally avoidable deaths.

The death toll from the Texas floods is now over 120 people. Trump slashed funding for the National Weather Service earlier this year.
