OK, reboot #MacGyver is gloriously cheesy. Like, they're either leaning into MacGruber or the original was cheesier than I remember.
Corkscrew went missing. Had to improvise. A screw and a pliers did the trick.

Games are ranked this low either because they're terrible, or because they have very few ratings. Looking at my list of games, I have the following hidden gems:
* The MacGyver Escape Room game, ranked 22,536: yeah, it's a TV tie-in & they're usually terrible... but this was an enjoyable set of puzzles, though it used flimsy materials that you modify/destroy when you play, so it's one-time use. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/257598/macgyver-the-escape-room-game

BoardGameGeekMacGyver: The Escape Room GameMacGyver: The Escape Room Game comes with five hour-long escape room scenarios in the box, with each scenario in its own sealed square envelope. There is also a card that gives some flavor text and instructions on how to play the game, and leads players to the game’s companion website,
The website functions as the game’s timer, and is where you enter solutions to the puzzles. It also has a button to get hints. The game will not function without the website, so the game is not playable without an Internet connection.
The goal of MacGyver: The Escape Room Game is to solve a series of puzzles over a set period of time. The app has three settings:
Easy - not timed
Medium - 75 minutes
Hard - 45 minutes
The Underground Lab scenario has six puzzles, each of which must be completed, and correctly entered into the website, to progress to the next. Incorrect answers give a time penalty. The puzzles, unlike some other escape room games, are completely linear, with only one to complete at a time. There are four other scenarios in the box -- Airplane, Factory, Missile Silo, and Grand Finale -- and they have to be played in order.

A regulation golf ball, suspended by a thread, can deliver precise and accurate wind measurement data without requiring instrument calibration. It is cheap, simple, and widely available. Admittedly, you must understand how to apply an aerodynamic drag coefficient to formula and calculate the result, but that information is also freely available on NASA's website.
These are the kind of "science in a pinch" problems my mind iterates over until they can be reduced to no simpler form. I am quite proud of this one.

I made my bathroom spider a drown-proof drinking tray. I have already once fished them out of the toilet and as much as I am trying not to get attached to this spider, it's really hot and I don't want it to cook, or go searching for water in the toilet again. It's extremely dry here.

So I managed to be without a light and decided what the heck I'll make one because I have no ambient light and I don't want to burn up my cell with flashlight
Since I'm a part-time #maker I had all this stuff around.
Difficulty level: no solder.

Biiicycle biiiiiiiiicycle, I want to use brakes on my biiiiiicycle.
Advice needed.
Today one of our technicians took it upon himself to clean my #bicycle's rims.
As he is an utterly destructive idiot he used a light oil with silicone for that. Something I only found out close to a red traffic light. 
So now my brakes are overly hipster. And I don't want that tomorrow 
Any idea on how to remove this shit with only the contents available in a standard #hotel room?
