FreeTube has been down a long time and I'm worried. I'm rooting for the devs! I believe in you!!! People have been recommending Grayjay, but the fact that I have video suggestions is a deal breaker. The first and foremost reason I use Freetube is to avoid the media overload and algorithms while still watching videos. If Freetube can't pull through, I'm going to quit YouTube and finally pay for Nebula. (And of course see who's worth checking out on Peertube!)

Bathed in the harsh ultraviolet light of nearby bright stars, the Horsehead Nebula is slowly being eroded away. Along its top ridge, two young stars emerge from their exposed stellar nurseries, while the surrounding gas clouds have already dissipated. The tip of the pillar, however, remains dense enough with hydrogen, helium, and dust to cast a protective shadow that shields material behind it from photo-evaporation, preserving its distinctive shape. Astronomers estimate that the Horsehead has about five million years left before it disintegrates completely. It is part of the vast Orion Molecular Cloud Complex, which also contains other iconic regions such as the Great Orion Nebula (M42), the Flame Nebula, and Barnard’s Loop.

The Medulla #Nebula Supernova Remnant

CTB-1, or the Medulla Nebula, is a supernova remnant in Cassiopeia, formed 10,000 years ago. It glows in visible light from heat due to collision with interstellar gas. Its X-ray glow remains unexplained, but a fast-moving pulsar found nearby might be the source. Despite its full-moon size, capturing its faint image required 130 hours of exposure.
