Putting together a very strong lineup for the upcoming Freaks Day Out run, got some great acts lined up to play in our little Brooklyn hideaway, aka the FDO Amphitheater.

Outdoor music season will soon be here!! If you're in the NYC area, I hope you'll come out to one or some or all.

First one will be 3/30 with Tasca, a fab organ trio.

Sunday at (OMG, ugh) 4:50 p.m. was not the best sunset I've ever seen at #RedHook #Brooklyn, but still pretty good. It's best in early summer when the sun sets behind the Statue of Liberty.

The marine traffic map I consulted says the cruise ship in the distance was the Symphony of the Seas, 4th largest such ship in the world. Weirdly, I could not find info elsewhere indicating that SotS had been docked at either the Manhattan or Brooklyn cruise terminals.

@capntransit @repjerrynadler@bird.makeup Take one tube of the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brooklyn for use by the 1 and you have your connection to Governor's Island. It comes really close to Governor's Island. Oh and this ' is a tolled tunnel in New York City that connects Red Hook in Brooklyn with the Battery in Manhattan.' After a month doing god knows what, I finally got out #InlineSkating Tuesday night and did my first roll to #RedHook of the year. The traditional 50 km, as it were.

Ferris St was if anything worse than I remembered, but maybe that was because the lighting really was worse than I remembered.

Also of note:
* Manhattan Pier 97 sucks for skating. Just a crap surface.
* Lost track of how many rats and mice I saw. But I won't forget the dead one laying in the middle of the West Side Bike Path.
