How to Remove #Pesticides From Fruits and Vegetables?

Deze manier is interessant. Ik heb nog een doos staan 👇👇

"Use #BakingSoda:
Baking soda is a miracle ingredient in natural cleaning solutions — it’s not only safe but gets the job done. Previous studies have shown that baking soda removes 66.7% to 98.9% of pesticides.

Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with every two cups of cold water. Douse your fruits and vegetables for a minute, rinse, and enjoy without pesticides."

Terrific video with useful information

I learned late how baking soda is great when cooking beans — but: if you are cooking beans to make tempeh, do NOT use baking soda. It makes the beans slightly alkaline — toxic to Rhizopus oligosporus, the tempeh fungus. For beans cooked for tempeh, use plain water.

For regular cooking of beans, I now always use a little baking soda.
