So, der Anfang ist gemacht und so nach und nach trudeln die ersten Vorschläge für die Liste der Fotofachhändler rein. Ich versuche diese zeitnah in die Liste aufzunehmen.

Weil ich angefragt wurde, natürlich konnen auch Fotofachhändler in der Schweiz und in Österreich mitmachen. Mach dafür jeweils eine eigene Rubrik. Ist also kein Problem.

Nun aber los und teilt/boostet diesen Beitrag das noch viele Fotofachhändler auf die Liste kommen.

I found it! The weakest link! 😬

I also found a few other things:

That Yato 3 ton farm jack is proper strong (although the foot is slightly crooked now).

This post, unlikely all the others, was concreted in. So I was trying to pull the steel out of the concrete, which lead to chain failure.

DIY store chain is poorly welded.

Cheap crap stainless U-shackles from a random chandlery are sometimes surprisingly strong!

The failed link in a gloved hand. The failure has occured at the weld, which shouldn't happen unless it's welded badly. There's a second crack on the opposing side that happened later, as the failed link was forced open further.
Fence post that help discover the weak link, now extracted from the ground, including a large piece of concrete cast in place with rocks on the bottom and some dirt on it. Bob the head on a stick is looking at it ponderously. Perhaps he considers a stick upgrade. It wouldn't fit you, Bob!
