The fact that we have a Premier that made a statement like that is completely unbelievable. It's a racist ignorant comment and it was spoken by someone who should be representing all of Ontario.

Jeronimo Kataquapit who is leading a Call To Action protest in the remote wilderness of the Attawapiskat River has now started a Youtube Channel.
They are now 140 km west of Attawapiskat FN in northern Ontario and moving west to the heart of the Ring of Fire mining exploration area. They are protesting Ont Bill 5 and Canada's Bill C5 which threaten FN lands.
Here is a short video of Jeronimo Kataquapit and his family as they journey on the Attawapiskat River in solidarity with those opposing gov Bill 5 and Bill C5 that is threatening FN lands and rights.

Traditional moose meat recipe (with some modern additions). My neighbour recently gave me some moose meat so I mad a big meal. This is a recipe my mom used to make for us as kids. Simple and removes much of the strong wild taste while still tasting good.
The ground meat is fried with lots of onions and a flour slurry. I added worcestershire sauce and some frozen veggies as a modern addition. Then served with plain ol' mashed potatoes.

An FB post from my fellow community members and relatives in Attawapiskat who attended the announcement of Bill 5 at the Ont Legislature. Chief Sylvia Metatawabin-Koostachin and others voiced their concerns and were fined and escorted away. There are many Indigenous leaders who are protesting this and will not stop because there is too much at stake for our people.
