Building My Own "Threads"
https://ayos.blog/threads-project
Having my own page for a cozy display of hand-picked posts gives me and my digital visitors tons of value. In this post, I write the motivations behind my `/threads` project.
Staying #SmallWeb or #TinyWeb is a survival strategy. When servers get big they become hard to maintain, hard to moderate and expensive such that the lure of easy advertising money begins to be a temptation. The bigger the server is, the more pressure there is on the few people maintaining it, and burnout or corporate capture becomes a real hazard.
