It’s mid January, so
Ethan Saylor is on my mind.
Ethan was a 26 year old man with Down syndrome who was killed by 3 off duty police officers, 12 years ago.
The sheriff’s brother in the county placed the blame for Ethan's death squarely on Ethan’s mother, for not "keeping him home."
I forever mourn for Ethan’s family and for our larger community.
