I’m looking for a client or a new position as a product designer or software developer.
I have over 8 years experience designing UIs, making UX decisions and developing with React/Next/Remix, Ruby on Rails and Nest (I’m not limited to these technologies, they are just the ones I’m most skilled with).

When I design in the browser (which is the vast majority of the time), I make hundreds of decisions I could not have made if I wasn’t designing in the browser. It makes my work better
#figma folks, any of you switch to Penpot recently? I love the Penpot team and have used it myself personally but curious if any of you are on teams that have migrated to it?

Modyfi was a promising online animation platform, that we used for some of our animations.
But it got bought by Figma and will be discontinued on June 13th.
Too bad start-ups are still building products to be bought out, rather than creating something sustainable. #Modyfi + #Figma
We will happily keep using #Cavalry!

It’s nice to know that my reaction to #Figma Sites was not an outlier.
@joelanman Yep. That's one of the reasons why, after reviewing #Figma , we rejected it, and advised everyone to do the same. We want an #accessibleweb . Figma should be an #a11y . They are perfectly positioned to lead the way. And they choose differently.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but the frequency and duration that this message appears in #Figma is getting to the point that I want to hurl this app out the window. It doesn’t seem to matter if it’s a large file or a small one. It’s not like I’m on dial up out here.
My great and genius friend @maxvoltar runs through the new @Figma interface “Toolbelt”:
各デザインツールのリサイズハンドル（いわゆるバウンディングボックス）の UI や挙動の違い。
ハンドルの中のクリック位置のオフセットを考慮してくれるのは #Photoshop と #Affinity だけなの知らなかった。
それ以外の #Figma とかではドラッグのときに掴んだ位置がハンドルポインターの四角の中心からずれた位置だったら、ドラッグ操作が始まった瞬間にポインターの位置にハンドルが瞬間移動しちゃう。細かい挙動の違いではあるけど自分は前者が好き。
まあこれは慣れと好みの範囲のような気もするけど、#Illustrator と#Photoshop は同じ #Adobe のツールなのに挙動が違うのはちょっとどうなのかー
