These three youngsters still haven't flown, although when it's windy they stand up, spread their wings and jump up in the nest, hovering for a second before dropping back down.
Their flight feathers look fully developed now, so maybe they just need to find their confidence.
Stork update! There's at least two storklings up in there. They're growing fast and make all kinds of cute squeaks now. Some sound like a frog, which I'm not sure if it's the baby storks or their food.
It took a few weeks, but now they're big enough you can sometimes see them peeking over the edge of the nest.
They clacker their little black beaks almost as loud as a big one.
Parents very busy bringing all the takeout food the kids keep ordering.
Stork still improving the nest. Perhaps the last week of crappy weather has necessitated some repairs. He's nicely cleaning up the birch twigs in front of the house. Get them all!
I'm not sure if there are eggs yet. There should be, but according to the previous folks, last year they did not succeed either.
